Janie George, daughter of Calvin George and Mary Hancock, was born in Chouteau, in Indian Territory before OK became a state. She spent her early years in OK and AZ. She was part of a large family and being the oldest girl, had much responsibility.
On 24 May 1914 she married Clarence Kryger. They had a family of five children, 3 girls and 2 boys. She was a resourceful happy person who loved her family. She ran a beauty shop in her home.
After Clarence died, she married Herbert "Swede" Neve and spent her later years in the San Diego area.
