Obituary published in the Patriot (Harrisburg, PA) Monday 13 Mar 1916. Summary: Died Friday night (10th or the llth depending if it was after midnight). Veteran of Civil war. Served in a Pennsylvania volunteer regiment under David Hummel. Member of Citizen Fire Co., Steelton Lodge, I.O.O.F., Steelton Council, Order of Independent Americans and Sergeant Lascomb Post. G. A. R.
Survived by his wife and two sons, Allen R., of Waynesboro, and Daniey R., of the borough.
