West Virginia, USA
Tinker was a little brown and white Terrier and very smart. He belonged to my mom and dad and he came to Ohio from West Virginia with my mother on a grayhound bus and wrapped in a wash cloth. That's how small he was. He was raised with two of my brothers and my sister.
When my sister got married and moved she took Tinker to live with her which was about 5 miles away. One day he got out of the house and we assume he was trying to go back to his old home. He got out on a main highway and was hit by a car. We found him laying along the roadside.
He was born about 1962 or 1963 and lived to the mid 1970's. He was probably about 13 or 14 when he died.
He was a sweet little thing and loved by all. He is still missed but now he is with my mom, dad and one brother again. He got back home again with part of the family.
