MARCOOT, Ala. — Mrs. Betty Richardson, 75, of Marcoot died Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Ala.
Funeral services are scheduled Saturday, March 18 at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church in Marcoot with Elder Bobby Sizemore and the Rev. Clifford DeLee officiating. Burial will follow at the Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Hugh Richardson, of Marcoot; three children, Paul Richardson, Ann Edge and Lynn Bishop, all of Marcoot; two brothers, Ned Lindsey of Sylacauga, Ala., and Bobby Lindsey of Johnson City, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Richardson was born June 29, 1930 in Chambers County. She was retired from Russell Corporation in LaFayette. She was a member of the Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 17 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette.
