Cleatus Norman Brown, 83, of Bono, died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at Randolph Home. He was born April 4, 1916, a son of the late Henry Robert and Dorothy Elizabeth (Johnson) Brown. He was a retired fanner and an Army veteran of World War II. A sister, Syble Keech, also preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Velma (Chester) Brown of the home; two brothers, Earl Brown of Bono and Velpo Brown of Warner Robins, Ga.; two sisters, Mary Cassidy of Pocahontas and Agnes Dysard of Rockaway Beach, Mo. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Kenneth Gossett officiating. Burial followed in Stubblefield Cemetery. A VFW Honor Guard conducted graveside military services.
