Word has been received here by relatives of the death on Tuesday in Anna Maria, Fla. of Rear Adm. Frank C. Dunham, U.S. Navy (Ret). He was a native of North Bennington, son of the late Herbert and Mary (Loomis) Dunham.
A graduate of North Bennington High School, he also was a graduate of Norwich University. He retired a few years ago after a long Navy career.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Frank Dunham, Jr.; nieces and nephews and cousins, many of whom live in this area. He was a brother of the late Arthur and Jesse Dunham and is survived by a brother Kenneth who makes his home in Florida.
Among the nieces and nephews are Mrs. Mary Tinkham and Barbara Dunham of Bennington, Mrs. Doris Spaulding of Shaftsbury; Herbert and Earl Dunham of Bennington and Roy Dunham of Kentucky. Cousins include Erwin W. Dunham and Clark Loomis.
Funeral services were held Friday at Ft. Myers chapel in Arlington, Va., National Cemetery.
