CIVIL WAR VETERAN
********************
On Friday, October 13th, the spirit of Mr. L. B. Austin winged its way from earth to the Great Beyond from which no traveler e'er returns. After several weeks of suffering he passed away quietly. He was a faithful member of County Line church, although denied the privilege of attending in his latter days, by reason of feeble health. His interest in and devotion to his church was unfailing, and he was always prompt to answer "present" when the church roll was called, and we feel sure that when the roll is called up yonder he will be there. He leaves a good wife, who will most keenly feel the loss of his daily deeds of kindness. We extend sympathy to the bereaved ones.
