Robert L. [Louis] Blain, 81, died of a heart attack Sunday, Oct. 5, 1975 at his home. He was a brother of Louise Openshaw, Santaquin.
Mr. Blain was born Oct. 4. 1894 in Manti to John Slack and Sarah Zabriskie Blain. He married Gertrude Christensen Oct. 3, 1918 in Salt Lake City. A veteran of World War I, he was a retired warehouseman and carpenter. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Odus (Vloe) Berna, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lawrence (Dorothy) Therriault, Winthrop, Wash.; two grandchildren; one brother, three sisters, Rulon Blain, Spring City, Sanpete County; Louise Openshaw, Santaquin; Ida Radditz, Garden Grove, Calif.; Florance Workman, Los Angeles.
Funeral services will be Thursday noon, 2128 S. State where friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour before services. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens of the Valley [a.k.a. Larkin Sunset Gardens].
