Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Naillon Jacobs, age 85, passed away peacefully in the loving care of her children, at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah, Friday, July 26, 1991 , at 4:15 p.m.

She was born in Spanish Fork, Utah January 17, 1906 to Dr. [Doctor, name not title] Lafayette Naillon and Ardelia Thacker. Married Carl Jacobs July 25, 1921; solemnized one year later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Her husband preceded her in death July 22, 1987, also a son, Heber Carl August 11, 1984.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, srving as reflief Society President, and serving two stake missions with her dear husband. She also served in other various capacities in the church. She loved genealogy, and attending the temple. She was always interested in each of her children, grandchildren, and many friends.

They were blessed with seven children, four daughters and three sons. Surviving are daughters residing in Utah; Virginia Hatton, Bountiful; Dorothy McMeen, Provo; Elaine Bons, Centerville; and Maxine Garrett, Minneapolis, Minn.; two sons, residing in Utah: Melvin G. Jacobs, West Valley City; and Duane Jacobs, Farmington; 44 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, at the Cannon Stake Center, 934 Fremont Avenue. Friends may call at the Cannon Stake Center Tuesday, July 30th between 6 and 8 p.m. and Wednesday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Spanish Fork, Utah. Funeral directors, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary.
