His mother died of cancer when he was young, and so he started studing with the Jesuit Priests to complete high school. An early job was going to Detroit and working on the Ford model T. Later he worked at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft for many years. After several years of also working a small farm in Brimfield, MA., they build a house on Brimfield Rd in Monson and lived there till his death. He had many friends. His funeal was packed with people and cars. He loved Arther Fedler and Jackie Gleson. He always had candy to share with us kids, and he was vary thrifty.
