Matilda Kring Boyer----She was born Mar. 29, 1847, in Marshall County, Indiana. She was the fourth of eight children born to Joseph and Catherine (Snyder) Kring, of North Liberty, Indiana.
On Christmas Day, 1866, in South Bend, Ind., Matilda married Grafton Boyer, born Oct 24, 1842, in Mt. Hope, Ohio, died Jan. 29, 1916, in South Bend.
The Boyer's made their living as farmers, Matilda was a House Wife and mother to her children. She was a member of the Methodist Church in North Liberty.
The marriage of Matilda and Grafton was blessed with nine children;
