Death: Mar. 8, 1915
White Church
Howell County
Missouri, USA

Husband of Mary Anna Schumacheu, father of 6, including Henry J. and Ernestina Klara Stein Hendrix, also buried at St. Joseph's.

Henry came to the U.S. through New Orleans with his parents and siblings, settling first in Hermann, MO.

He served in the Union Army in the Civil War in Regiment 4 of the Infantry, and after the war married Mary Anna Schumacheu. After their first two children were born, he was the first of his family to relocate to White Church, MO, and wrote to the rest of his family urging them to come due to the fine pasture land available.

Their last four children were born in White Church.
