George Franklin "Frank" Lamb was the son of Henry Franklin Lamb and Mary Margaret Wilson Lamb. He married January 1, 1900 to Myrtle Olive Killion.
Obituary--Emporia Gazette--Frank Lamb Dies
Americus, Oct 17--Frank Lamb 69, a former resident of Americus, died at his home in Great Bend Saturday as a result of heart disease. Burial was at Lyons, Monday, October 14.
Mr. Lamb came to Kansas from Iowa when he was a child. He worked at various points for the Katy railway and was at one time station agent at Bushong, but he is best remembered as a carpenter.
His wife was the former Myrtle Killion. They left the Americus community about 30 years ago. He is survived by his wife, four children. Mr. Ray Harrison of Great Bend, Mrs. John Leslie, Hutchison, Loren, Ft. Dodge and Herbert of Hays. Two children died in infancy. He was a member of the Methodist church of Lyons where the family lived for several years. Relatives from Americus and surrounding communities who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Lamb and Mrs. H. W. Brasier of Americus. Wilbur and Chester Hobble of Dunlap; Mrs Frank Edmiston, Mrs. F. W. Grimmett, Mrs. Reatha Cole and Mr. and Mrs. Austin Shown of Emporia.
