Jane Jeanette Cromer, 90, of Hagerstown, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 21, 1914, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Victor Mills and Nettie Catherine Rhodes Cromer.
She was a 1933 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She retired from the Federal Trade Commission after 30 years of service as an executive secretary.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.
She was a former member of the Women's Club and Friends of Ravenwood, and a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
She is survived by two grandnephews, Charles P. Blackburn of Stone Mountain, Ga., and John M. Blackburn of Ithaca, N.Y., and one cousin, Louise McKenna of Hagerstown.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Catherine Blackburn, and one brother, Elias Cromer.
Graveside services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown. The Rev. David B. Kaplan will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Choir Music Fund, 141 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
Arrangements are by Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, North Potomac Street, Hagerstown.
