James B. Banks, 54 years of age, died yesterday in Phoenix, Arizona, after an illness of tuberculosis. He formerly lived in Bloomington.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Ida Banks; six daughters, Mrs. Chester Barrett, Bloomington; Grace Banks, Bloomington; Mrs. Walter Roll, Linton; Mrs. William Fultz, Indianapolis; Mrs. Ernest Raiser, Waynetown; and Mary Banks, Waveland; three brothers, Otis, Claude and Ray, all of Mecca, Indiana.
He was a member of the Church of Christ. The remains will be brought to this city for burial. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
