Obituary: HALLIE LOUISE (HARTSFIELD) MOCK
Hallie was born March 10, in Weatherford, TX to Walter and Geraldine (Aaron) Hartsfield. She
was a member of the Rotan High School class of 1959. On September 10, 1993 she married Wayne Mock
in Roby and the couple settled in Rotan. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Hallie was a
history buff and she especially enjoyed studing the history of Fisher County and surroundng areas. She
was an avid reader and had a diverse collectiion of books. She enjoyed sewing for her children and
grandchildren. Hallie was a member of Calvery Basptist Church in Rotan as a child and again as an adult.
Hallie was a loving wife, nurturing mother and grandmother. She was a compassionate caregiver for her
parents. She voluteered in the church in various roles, taught Sunday School and taught CAs. She attended
all school activties her children were inolved. This included twelve years of attending football, basketball,
and volleyball games, stock shoes, choir, plays and organizing multiple fundraisers.
Hallie is preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Mock,
Rotan: daughters Lynna Tarr and husband Curtis of Round Rock, TX; daughter Dana Davis and husband
Mark of Coppell, TX: son Robert Poer and wife Wendy of Addison, TX; and two grandchildren, Lindsey and
Garrett.
Died: December 19, 2012, in Lubbock, TX.
