William R. DeArment, 61, od Brighton Township, passed away early Wednesday, December 28, 1977, at his home, following a four-month illness.
Born January 11, 1916, in Bessemer, Pa., son of the late Roy and Mearl Griswald DeArment. He was a resident of Brighton Township for about twenty years, employed as a security guard at the Bruce Mansfield Power Plant, Shippingport, Pa., was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Beaver and was a Veteran of World War II, serving as a Marine in the South Pacific area.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are his widow, Rosemary Goettman DeArment, Brighton Township; three brothers, Harold, Reston, Va., Richard, Wheeler, Texas and Phillip of Littleton, Colorado and a sister, Mrs. Oliver (Thelma) Engle of Scott Depot, West Virginia.
The funeral service was officiated by his pastor, Rev. William M. Meyer. Interment was in Beaver Cemetery.
