Cliff A. Clayton III, 59, of Granbury died Feb. 7, 2011, after battling colon cancer for more than 18 months. Cliff was a master electrician, lifelong golfer and avid fisherman, but more than anything else he was an ever-present, loving husband, father, son and brother.
A native of Fort Worth who also made his home in Burleson, Rio Vista and Cleburne, Cliff gathered friends everywhere he went and was always surrounded by his family.
Cliff is survived by his wife, Linda Bemrick Clayton; daughter, Kathy Clayton; son, Mike Clayton and daughter-in-law, Angela Clayton; mother, Pat Boedeker and stepfather, T.C. Boedeker; sister, Cathy Stateler and brother-in-law, Dave Stateler; brother, Mike Clayton and sister-in-law, Trish Clayton; grandchildren, Lane and Ashtyn Janusch.
Cliff is also missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as dear and numerous lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Cliff A. Clayton Jr.
