Frances Sharp Johnson, age 93, died on September 7, 2011. She was a daughter of the late Frank Dye Johnson and Loucena Ross Johnson and the sister of the late Daniel Ross Johnson. She was a graduate of Cynthiana High School and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the American Colonists, Kentucky Society Dames of the Court of Honor and Lexington Woman's Club.

She is survived by: two first cousins, Ann Paxton Caldwell and John Ross Reno; and four other cousins, A. David Filer, Loucena K. Britt, Jane Filer Kisselbaugh and John D. Filer. She also had a special friend, Jennifer Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, at Milward Funeral Home-Broadway, with burial following at Battle Grove Cemetery, in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to Cynthiana Christian Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
