Mrs. Nellie Neal Young was born to the late Bell Moore and Cleive Moore on December 29, 1914 in Idabel Oklahoma.

She departed this life August 15, 2001.
In 1934,she moved to Odgen, Arkansas and married Floyd Young on 17 Feb, 1934 in Little River County, Arkansas. To this union three children were born.
In 1944, she moved to Ashdown, Arkansas and married Alexander Neal, who preceded her in death. She united Craig Chapel A.M.E. Church, where she was a member of the Stewardess Board and a member of the Missonary Society. She remained a faithful member until she moved back to Idabel where she united with St. James C.M.E. Church. She was a member of the Mission, Stewardess, and Sunday School. She was a faithful member until her death.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Floyd Young, a daughter, Annie Bell Thomas and a grandson JT Thomas.

She lives to cherish her memories: one daughter, Evangelist Easter Goodwin(Elder Jerry); 5 sons, Floyd Young(Susan), Carl Young(Sharon), Alexander Neal, Fugusta Neal(Minnie) and Cleive Neal(Anita). One brother, James Moore, 30 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held August 20, 2001 at St James CME Church in Idabel, OK.
