"BORNE - Of 925 Clouet street, Sunday, January 16, 1949, at 4 o'clock a.m., VICTOR R. BORNE, beloved husband of the late America Perez, father of Mrs. F. S. Stratkos of Ocean Springs, Miss., Mrs. M. G. Redden of Baton Rouge, La., Mrs. Louis Bartet, Sr., Mrs. Felicia Scanlan and Clifton P. Borne, brother of Mrs. August Bosch, Mrs. V. Mailer, Mrs. Clara Borne, Mrs. C. Kreger, Mrs. Charles Boner, also survived by 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, aged 72 years and four months, a native of New Orleans.
Relatives and friends of the family, also officer and members of Osiris Lodge No. 300, F. and A. M., New Orleans Police Department and Association, Spanish War Veterans, are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place Monday, January 17, 1949, at 2 o'clock p.m., from the funeral home of E. J. Ranson and Sons, Inc., 1027 Elysisan Fields avenue.
Interment in St. Roch cemetery."
