Inez Scarbrough Aiken, 86, of Athens died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1999, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
A native of Polk County and resident of McMinn County since 1946, she attended Keith Memorial United Methodist Church. A daughter of the late T.W. and Maggie Gentry Scarbrough, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. "Bill" Aiken on July 10, 1986.
Survivors include several cousins.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Lay Leader J. Neal Ensminger officiating.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Jones Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Bryant officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday prior to the services at the funeral home.
Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home of Athens is in charge of arrangements.
