Enric Arredondo

Actor. A native of Barcelona, Arredondo was one of the most respected Spanish actors of his time. He began his career on stage along with Alejandro Ulloa and Adolfo Marsillach, playing on "Los Huevos del Avestruz," "La Fundación," "Los Domingos, Bacanal," "El Knack," "Muerte Accidental de un Anarquista," "Ai, Carai!," "La Tempestad" and "El Visitant." In television Arredondo is probably best remembered for "Periodistas." He also appeared in such films as "Sombras Paralelas" (1994), "Asunto Interno" (1996) and "No Respires: El Amor Está en el Aire" (1999). Despite poor health in his later years, Arredondo remained active until his death. His last performances were in the plays "Vía Gagarin" (2003) and "Tio Vania" (2004), and in the film "Dos Billetes" (2006).  (bio by: José L Bernabé Tronchoni)
