Birth: unknown
Death: unknown

Our new neighbor's full grown, outdoor cat adopted us and started sleeping in our garage. For Christmas they let us adopt him. He became an indoor cat with his own private entrance. Ben, was named for Benjamin Bunny and we kept his name. He was part Manx, with a nub for a tail. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect cat. A sweet disposition, very playful, and obedient. He had a unique personality that people who didn't like cats, liked him. I can't say one thing bad about him. The entire time we shared him, I always knew he was very special and that I was privileged to have him. Days before he passed, I was taking some photos in the yard and he hopped into the pix, my last ones of him. After he didn't come home, I searched the neighborhood for him and after everyone gave up, somehow I found his cat collar in a neighbors' yard. I later learned of the coyote that took him away. The witness says he got away from him once, but was recaptured and taken away. Heartbroken! Loved that cat so much. Such a horrible ending for such a sweet angel. Photo from 1999, when I was gardening, he'd lounge on the arbor. He left such an indelible impression, that our next cat had to be a red/white mix, in his honor.
