Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda M. Taylor, 76 years-old widow of James F. Taylor, Grays Harbor County treasurer in 1904 and 1926, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow at the Fisher & Kalfus Funeral Parlors.
Burial will be in Washelli.
Mrs. Taylor died Saturday of a stroke suffered at the home of her niece, Mrs. Ethel Carlile 3437 Walnut Ave. Mrs. Taylor, the daughter of Mercer and Sarah Thompson, Oregon pioneers and founders of the first Methodist Episcopal Church in Linn County, Or., was born March 2, 1860 at Albany, Oregon.
Mrs. Taylor was married to James Franklin Taylor February 19, 1884. In 1891, they went to Montesano, Grays Harbor County, where they had resided until Mr. Taylors death Jan 4 1934.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Alice Ender, Port Stanley, San Jaun County, and a brother, George L Thompson, Albany, Or.
