Clyde Buckingham, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Buckingham of 506 North Ball street, was maried to Miss Osa Kirby of Joplin, yesterday at 11 o'clock by Justice G. H. DeGarmo, in the office of Judge DeGarmo. The groom is well known in this city, having received his education in the public schools of this city. Last spring he went to St. Louis where he has been employed, but returned home a few weeks ago. Miss Kirby is well known and popular among the yound folks of her set in Joplin. They willl reside in this city for the present.

Osa O. Douglas 91, 1805 W. 32nd Street, died Thursday at Oak Hill Hospital where she had been a patient since Friday.
Mrs. Douglas was born April 27, 1898 at Republic, Missouri. She moved to Joplin from Avilla in 1899. She formerly was employed by the Boucher and M & O Cigar factories, both of Joplin. Later she worked for Meeker Leather Company of Joplin. She was a member of the Central City Christian Church, American War Dad's Association Auxiliary and the A-TA Auxiliary.

She married Adolphus L. Douglas on July 18, 1918 in Joplin. He died February 15, 1972. Surviving are four daughters;

Graveside services were held at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, Bob Ely, minister officiated.
