Doris Ann gilbert Graham, 66, of Florence, Ala., passed away Thursday, Nov.24,on Thanksgiving Day, 2011.
She was a native and life-long resident of Lauderdale County. She attended Girls State in 1962, graduated as valedictorian of Mars Hill Bible school in 1963, having attended all 12 years there. She Then attended Freed Hardeman University. She was a member of the Killen Church of Christ, the Killen Senior Center and was a lifelong dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and great-grandmother. After many years of service, she retired from Wise Alloys in the accounting department.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Greenview memorial Chapel, with Stan Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-cities Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Montye Blackburn Gilbert.
Survivors include her husband, Bob C. Graham; sons; Bruce Graham and Mike Easterly; Daughters, Debra Easterly Ledger and Deborah Graham Stutts; sister, Betty Gilbert Moore and husband, Rickey; grandchildren, Malana Arnold and fiance, Clint Swinea, Zach Stutts and wife, Amber and Mary Elizabeth Graham; great-grandchild, Ethan Stutts, one niece and six nephews.
Pallbearers will be Keith Hall, Mike Alexander, Gerorge Hamner, Keith Medley, Earl Tank, Ross Hargett, Doyle McDonald, Jerry Mitchell and Norman Holladay.
