BOONVILLE - Claude S. Clark, 87, a resident of Sunset Nursing Home, Boonville died Friday morning, Dec. 3, 2010 where he had been a resident since Sept. 3, 2008.
Claude was born in Canastota on April 3, 1923 and was a lifelong resident of the area.
As a young man, Claude, came to work at the Williams Sale Stables Farm in Verona and was a devoted employee for over 50 years.
There are no known survivors but Claude will be remembered by the Williams family of Verona and Durhamville, the Breckenridge family of Verona, the Borchardt and Micciche families of Oneida and the Thornton and Tuttle families of Boonville.
A special thank you is extended to Amy and Ashley Thornton for their loving care of Claude. Claude's friends also wish to thank the Vale Haven Home of Camden and the Sunset Nursing home in Boonville for the professional and wonderful care given to Claude.
A prayer service will be offered on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010 at 4 p.m. at the Ironside Funeral Home, Inc. Oneida. Cremation will follow in Chenango Valley Crematorium, Earlville. Friends are invited and may call 2-4 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home, 342 Main St., Oneida.
