Original name: Pat Patkanim
Birth: 1815, USA
Death: 1858
Snohomish

Chief of the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe. He was instrumental in the signing of the famous Point Elliot Treaty (January 22, 1855). Also know as 'Patkanim,' he was first buried along the banks of the Snohomish river. Because of the chance of flooding, his remains were moved to the Tulalip Tribal Cemetery, Marysville, Washington in 1922. (bio by: Reg & Gloria)
