In this case there were no gravestones in this plot noted during the 2000 cemetery survey conducted by the Historical Society of Amherst, New Hampshire. The Historical Society does not know if there are unmarked burials. It is possible that the department of public works in Amherst has further records, but only after 1936. To the best of our knowledge, the town did not record burials before this time. The name of the plot owners were recorded and families took care of their own.
