Elva Tatton Davis, 80, wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died Wednesday, August 8, 1979 in a local hospital.
Born November 13, 1898, Orangeville, Emery County, Utah, to William and Martha M. Crawford Tatton. Married Robert Glen Davis August 26, 1922 in Orangeville. Marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Active in the Orangeville Ward, serving in the Primary for many years.
Survivors: Five sons, Vernon, Portland, OR; Robert G., Jr., Long Beach, CA; Kirby, SLC, UT; Delroy, Oxnard, CA; Richard, Seattle, WA; four daughters, Muriel Killpack, Shirley Jorgensen, Carole Whisler, all SLC, UT; Rosalie Gordon, Chicago, IL; 26 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:00 a.m. August 11, at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, where friends may call Friday 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Interment: Saturday 3:00 p.m. at the Orangeville Cemetary.
