CALLED HOME
In the sudden death of Mrs. H.H. Schmidt Tuesday night of last week, mention of which was made in last week's Leader, a great grief has befallen a happy home. Mrs. Schmidt was an industrious and home loving woman, intensely interested in home life and her children. He death cam as it were the stillness of the night. A three weeks old baby and eight other little folks left without a mother's care, makes the sudden call all the more tragic.
The funeral services were conducted last Friday at the Christian church in this city, Rev. C. E. Connell, of the M.E. Church at Bladen, having charge of the service. Burial took place in the Blue Hill cemetery.
Minnie Fesenbeck was born at Unadilla, Nebraska, February 12, 1880 and died at her home four and one-half miles northeast of Blue Hill, Nebraska February 10th, 1920, aged 39 years, eleven months and 29 days.
She was united in marriage to Herman H. Schmidt at Hastings, Nebr., February 17, 1898. To this union there was born nine children, all of whom survive and with a husband, one brother and two sisters, are left to mourn her untimely going.
The deceased was a member of the Lutheran church at Unadilla and lived faithful to the end.
The bereaved family and relatives have the profound sympathy of all in their great loss.
