The Sullivan News Feb. 19, 1920:
"Walter Immekus came up from the city Monday evening with the body of his wife who died at the City Hospital Sunday, February 15.
She was in the hospital seven days with influenza and pneumonia.
She was Rosa May Fenton, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Fenton and was about sixteen years old.
She was married to Walter Immekus in Sullivan less than a year ago. Her parents live in St. Louis but were both ill with the flu and were unable to come to Sullivan to attend the funeral and burial of their daughter.
Burial was made in Buffalo Cemetery Tuesday with a funeral service conducted by Rev. R. O. Miller."
