Born December 21, 1914 in Ft. Loudon, PA he was a son of the late John and Edna Walck Flagle.
For 21 years he was employed by Nitterhouse Concrete Co. of Chambersburg as a truck driver. He retired in 1977.
Mr. Flagle was a US Army veteran of WW II.
He was a life member of VFW Post #6241 of Mercersburg and a member of American Legion Post #606 of Ft. Loudon.
Clyde's interests and hobbies included hunting, dancing, John Wayne movies, gardening, cutting firewood, and spending time with his great grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Mary Katherine Beaver Flagle, two daughters, Edna B.(Mrs. Daniel) Molchan and Debra M. (Mrs. Robert) Pine both of Mercersburg, two sons, Richard "Ed" (husband of Sue) Beaver of Finly, Indiana and Clyde (husband of Teresa) Flagle, Jr. of Ft. Loudon. Fifteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Janet Hoover, and Thelma Sharar and a brother, Elwood Flagle.
