Pacolet, SC - Ola Bell Harvey died on Wednesday morning, April 5, 1978, in a Columbia, SC hospital, following a lengthy illness. Native of Pacolet, SC and daughter of the late George and Laura McHugh Hendrix. Member of the Pacolet First Baptist Church. Survivors included: one son, one sister, Mrs. Nell Polasdy of Charleston, SC; one half-sister, Mrs.Doris Brannon of Union, SC; one step-sister, Mrs. Agnes Smoak of Pacolet, SC; two brothers, Charles Hendrix of Asheville, NC and Rufus Hendrix of Fort Lauderdale, FL; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
