Pearl C. Alford, 89, of the Enon community, died Nov. 5, 2009, at Beacham Memorial Hospital.
Visitation is 5 to 8 tonight and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Enon Baptist Church. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery.

Funeral services for; Pearl C. Alford, 89, were Nov. 7, 2009, at Enon Baptist Church with Revs. Bendon Ginn and David Hedden officiating.
She died Nov. 5, 2009, at Beacham Memorial Hospital, Magnolia.
Mrs. Alford was a former employee of Morgan & Lindsey in McComb. She was a lifetime member of Enon Baptist Church where she served as church clerk for many years. She was also a member of the Joyful Generation Senior Adult, Group and the Ruth Sunday School Class.
She was born Aug. 17, 1920, at Walthall County, daughter of the late Willie M. and Etta Howell Cothern. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Grace Cothern.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Willard J. Alford; her daughter, Gaye Smith and her husband, Dr. Farris Smith, of Clinton; three grandchildren, Dr. Michael Smith and his wife, Sabrea, and their daughter, Presley, of Columbus, Mandy Winscott and her husband, Dr. John Winscott, and their children Bailey; Brady and Blair, of Clinton, Marcy Cross and her husband, Dr. Shane Cross, and their children, Parker and Avery of Arlington, Tenn.; two sisters, Wilene O'Quin and Nelle Alexander.
Pallbearers were Calvin McEwen, Tim Leonard, Jerry Boyd, Travis Marbury, Ronnie Campbell and Tommy Roberts.
Burial was in Enon Cemetery [Walthall Co.] with Catchings Funeral Home in charge.
