Nov. 24, 2010 Hurricane Washington County Utah, USA
Hurricane, Utah - Donald L. Million, 84, died on November 24, 2010. He was born in Ada, Minnesota to Elza and Dorothy Veal Million on April 18, 1926. He married Catherine Vetsch on July 3, 1946
Donald was raised in Minnesota farm country. He spent time in the Navy before his marriage, and then worked for the Great Northern Railroad, and later for the State of Minnesota as a drivers license examiner.
The words of Psalms 146:2 certainly applied to Donald, "I will praise Jehovah during my lifetime. I will make melody to my God as long as I am." Sharing his love for his God, Jehovah, and helping his neighbors also to come to know God brought Donald much happiness. He and Catherine spent many years in Minnesota, and later in Utah, in this ministry. The past 13 years they lived in Hurricane, and Donald was able to visit most of the homes in the area in this endeavor. He was a very kind and helpful man, as well as a loving husband and father.
Donald is survived by his wife Catherine; daughters: Lana Oliver and husband Robert of Sand Springs, OK, and Susan Bloom and husband Joseph of Manhattan, MT; grandchildren: Nicole Givens of Sand Springs, OK, and Yvonne Carson of Austin, TX; great-granddaughters: Briana and Lydia of OK; a brother: Earl Million and wife Tahnia of Hurricane, UT; and a sister: Shirley Trom of Fargo, ND.
A memorial will be held Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1490 South 700 West, Hurricane, Utah. A gathering of family and friends will follow the memorial services. Arrangements entrusted to Pine View Mortuary, 435-986-4222
