Daughter of George and Margaret Kaiser, Susannah was born in the municipality of Dauernheim. The family immigrated to the United States from Germany. They sailed aboard the Oldenburg out of Bremen and arrived at Baltimore in July 1855.
They moved to Ontario Canada where Susannah married Benjamin Rowe in Logan Township Perth County on July 3, 1862. They lived in Howick Township Ontario before moving to the United States in 1876. They built a cabin and settled to work their land at Galt, now McBain, Michigan.
Susannah and Benjamin had ten children; six were alive at the time of her death, namely, John Henry, Lillian Pollington, Frederick Albert, Malinda Good, Jemima Hess, and Amanda Hyatt. Susannah lived with the Hyatt family when she passed away in 1921. Burial in Riverside Cemetery.
