Leone Wilson Kramer was the first born of Walter Scott Kramer and Mary Florence Wilson in Frankfort, Clinton County, Indiana, north of Indianapolis. He was an Express Agent for American Express

1892 they were living in Indianapolis at 413 N Alabama St, her father was a Messenger.

Jun 9, 1900, they were living in Indianapolis at 1064 N New Jersey St.

Jun 10, 1903, Leone received her diploma from Shortridge High School at English's Opera House in Indianapolis. Her parents gave her an Elgin watch as a graduation gift. My father gave me her watch as my high school graduation gift 64 years later.

1910, Leone was a Public School Teacher and living with her parents at 934 Tecumseh Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Jul 5, 1911, at the age of 26 she married George Graph Griffin at her parents' home. Leone wore a blue silk traveling suit while carrying a bouquet of white roses. They will live in Chicago at 1841 Bernice Ave, per The Indianapolis Star Society Column.

Because he was a commercial salesman, they moved around.
Aug 28, 1917 she gave birth to John Scott Griffin in Dallas, Texas. He lived only 18 days.
Sept 1918 they lived at 2031 Octavia St, New Orleans, Louisiana per George's WWI registration.

Jun 15, 1919 she had her second son, George Graph Griffin, Jr. in their apartment at 350 E. 56th St, Chicago, Illinois. Though she was a Christian Scientist, a doctor attended the birth. My father believed because she previously lost a baby (he didn't know for a fact) and was afraid of losing him, she had a doctor attend to the birth.

Oct 27, 1919 Leone became a widow when her husband died from double pneumonia during the end of the Great Influenza. He was buried in Terre Haute, Indiana. She and her baby moved in with her parents, Walter and Mary Kramer, at her childhood home in Indianapolis.

Sep 21, 1920, she became an employee of the Telephone Company as a stenographer in the General Contract Agent's Office. During her 1st four years she was stenographer and clerk for the Central Division commercial superintendent.

Jun 29, 1923, Leone took a motor trip to Washington DC and other eastern parts with her son, parents and brother. Per The Indianapolis Star Society Column.

Jan 1. 1924 at the Telephone Company she was a stenographer in the Central District Office for the Traffic Department.

Jul 24, 1925 Leone, her parents and son traveled to Warren County, Virginia for two weeks.

Jan 1, 1928 at the Telephone Company she was a stenographer in the Outstate Division Office.

Apr 2, 1930 Leone was a Telephone Company Stenographer.

Mar 17, 1932, Leone was helping her son with homework. Her mother Mary had gone upstairs earlier, and had not returned. Leone became concerned because Mary had fainting spells; per my father at that time it was not known Mary had breast cancer. Leone found her mother on the bathroom floor, and thought she was dead. Per my father, Mary had fainted from the pain in her breast when she lifted the bathroom window. Upon seeing her mother on the floor, Leone collapsed, suffering from a heart attack, and was unconscious for a short while before dying in her son's arms. She died about 7 p.m. Mary awakened to see her daughter dead.

Leone is buried next to her parents.
