Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2007 at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, march 12, 2007, at the funeral home and also one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Macon County Honor Guard.
Harold was born December 24, 1946 in Decatur, IL., the son of Samuel Maurice and Doris Eileen (Bales) Hill.
Harold owned and operated a carpet installation business. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army serving a tour in Vietnam.
Harold was a member of the D.C. Eagles, Macon County Chapter Vietnam, V.F.W. Post 99, and D.A.V. of Decatur, IL.
Surviving are one son, Harold W. Hill Jr. of Decatur; one daughter, Fawn O. (Joe) Schuman of Decatur; companion, Bobbi Gray of Yellville, Ark.; one step-son Tony (Liz) Plain of Decatur; one step-daughter Michel Mueller of Decatur; one adopted nephew, Christopher Lynn Faith of Warrensburg, IL.; one sister, Elizabeth of California; one brother, Paul Clem Jr. of California; one half brother, Wesley Arnold Hill of Decatur; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by both parents, and one sister Penny, one Aunt Mary Hill and one grandson, Raheem Hill.
