She was born February 26, 1930 in Hartford, the daughter of Joseph and Pauline Amoruso. She graduated from Hartford Public H.S. and attended Morse Business School.
She worked in the purchasing department at The Hartford Electric Light Co. and Advest (Middletown Office) as a brokers assistant. She was a longtime communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Middletown.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Joe; her son Frank and his wife, Amy of Madison; her daughter, Donna Carta Adiletta and her beloved granddaughter, Taylor of Beacon, New York; a brother, Michael and his wife, Marge of Rocky Hill; a sister, Anne and her husband, John Morlino of Clemson, South Carolina; and a sister-in-law, Rita Amoruso of Wethersfield, as well as many nieces and nephews, grand- nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Amoruso.
Funeral Services will be held in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 10 Elm Street, on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the State Veteran's Cemetery, Middletown.
Relatives and friends may call at D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main Street, on Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
