Gaffney, S.C. - Brock Wallace Stansfield Bennett, 16, of 704 Buck Shoals Road, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at his residence.
Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of Jon Brinson Bennett of the home and Tina Dawn Bryant of Gaffney.
Brock was an 11th grade student at Gaffney High School and was of the Jehovah Witness faith. He was an avid Clemson Tiger fan, loved electronics, and was very mechanical and could fix anything.
Surviving in addition to his parents is a brother, Brett Bennett of the home; two sisters, Courtland Bennett and Morgan Bennett, both of the home; paternal grandparents, Lewis & Betty Bennett; maternal grandparents, James and Debra Mancuso, Harley & Farrell Sherrill and William C. Panter.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2014 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Scott Dawson and Mr. Jon Bennett officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 1886, Gaffney, S.C. 29342.
