Fidel Meraz Arias Jr., devoted son, brother, husband, father and grandfather passed away suddenly on October 8, 2011.
He was raised in Santa Maria by his mother Helen Lopez along with his brothers, David Arias and Ricky Arias. Fidel attended local schools and graduated from Santa Maria High School in 1986.
After graduating from high school Fidel went to work for HY Minami as a forklift driver for the next 13 years.
He met and married the love of his life Ruby Nunez of Santa Maria.
For the past 5 years, Fidel was employed with Union Pacific Railroad.
Mr. Arias is survived by his wife, Ruby (Nunez) Arias, mother, Helen Lopez.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fidel Meraz, Sr., his grandmother, Clotilde Lopez, his Uncle Clifford Tanore, his aunt Beatrice Tanore, and his aunt Anna Lopez.
