Henry was the beloved son of Henry B. Day and Anna M. Alley.
Funeral of Dr. Henry Day.
Accompanied by relatives of the deceased the body of Dr. Henry B. Day, Jr., arrived in Dayton Thursday evening from Seattle and was taken to the undertaking parlors of J.F. Samuel. Funeral services were held Friday at 10:30 a.m. from the First Congregational Church, the Rev. Harry E. Mason officiating.
Dr. Henry Day was born here nearly 26 years ago, a son of Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Day, early pioneers of Dayton. He attended the public schools and later attended a medical school at Portland. Graduating from that institution, he engaged in the practice of medicine in Seattle. The cause of death has not been learned here. He is survived by his mother. Mrs. H.B. Day, of Seattle, two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Drumheller, of Walla Walla and Miss Fannie Day of Seattle and a brother John Harvey Day of Seattle.
