Rotan - J.A. Arnold Neeley, 72, of Rotan died at 3:45 a.m. Sunday, in Fisher County Hospital after a brief illness. Services will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday in Rotan Church of Christ.
Charles Lindsey minister will officiate. Burial will be in Rotan Belview Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home.
Born Oct. 1, 1905, in Fisher County, he was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. A.C. Neeley. He had live in Fisher County all his life except for a two-year stay in San Angelo. He married Ludora Campbell, May 2, 1927, in Rotan. He was a retired machanic.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Archie of Rotan, and
Billy of Snyder a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Mary Lou) Landers of Rule; a brother, Ray Neeley of Brentwood, CA.; a sister Mrs. Aubrey McCright of Abilene seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
