Brandon Myles Shannon, 18, of New Britain, died tragically on Saturday (May 27, 2006). Brandon formerly attended New Britain High and was in the midst of getting his GED and enrolling in a construction program. He will forever be remembered in the hearts of his mother, Kimberly (Monroe) Shannon and her husband Graylon Shannon of New Britain; and his father, Robert M. Harris, Sr. and his wife Theresa (Vaught) Harris of Windsor. He leaves to cherish his memory, five brothers, Joseph Shannon, Laylon Copeland, Robert Harris, Jr., Anthony DeCarish, Jr., and Kevin Harris; three sisters, Kiana Shannon, Liana Copeland, and Ashley Vaught; his maternal grandparents, Isadore and Charlotte Monroe; and paternal grandparents, Edward and Vera Shannon, and Lewis and Hope Harris. His closest friends, who lay in eternal rest with him, Luis Adino, Gene Galarza, Edmundo Carasquillo and Mary Neliz Jimenez. He also leaves a host of uncles, aunts, and friends. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 5, 12 NOON, at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield.
