~~*~~Mary Amelia was born to Charles Ross Chief Factor for the Hudsons Bay Co. and his wife Isabella Ross (Mainville) of Ojibway/Metis/French ancestry.
~~Mary Amelia's sister Elizabeth who was married to Charles D. Wren died on June 6th of 1856 leaving 4 little girls ages 10,8,6 and 4 motherless.
~*~Mary then became their mother and married Charles D.Wren and together the 2 of them had Walter W. Wren(Jul 1860) who married Eva Carmichael;and John Charles Wren(24 Feb 1867/7 Sep 1912. Possibly they had a girl also. Charles is buried on Roy Hill in the Wren Family Cemetery with his first wife Elizabeth(Ross)and an Infant child.
~~Charles died on 24 Feb 1873 on his youngest son John Charles 6th birthday.
~~Mary then marrys Charles Hess and they have a child Mabel Clarissa born in 1879 who marrys her first cousin Charles Alexander Ross(1870)and they have a boy, Jack Walter Ross.
~Mary Amelia & Charles are the grandparents of Charles Byron Wren #37973168 one of Walter's sons.
