John was a retired sergeant for the New Orleans Police Department, and had been a co-owner of a medical supply business. A graduate of DeLaSalle High School.


Visitation was held on Friday, 5 March 2004, at 10 a.m. with funeral Mass beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd.


Interment in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum on Friday, 5 March 2004.
