Benjamin Hendrickson

Actor. Hendrickson is best known for his roles on soap operas; his longest running appearance was on "As the World Turns" as 'Hal Munson,' a role he played for over twenty years for which he won an Emmy in 2003. He also appeared on "Another World" and "Guiding Light." His movie roles include "Regarding Henry" and "Manhunter." In addition, Hendrickson guest starred in two episodes of "Law & Order." Earlier in his career, he was David Bowie's understudy in the Broadway play "The Elephant Man;" his other stage credits include "The Taming of the Shrew," "The Time of Your Life," and "Measure for Measure." He was a member of the first class of the drama division at the Juilliard School and a founding member of John Houseman's The Acting Company. (bio by: Jennifer M.)
