Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Greenmount Cemetery for Mary Frances Brown, who died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, at her home in Durango of natural causes. She was 72.

Rabbi Aaron Diem will officiate at services. Burial will be at Greenmount Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown was born Dec. 7, 1929, in Bluffton, Texas.

Mrs. Brown moved to Durango from Las Vegas five years ago, and she enjoyed living in the Durango area. She also enjoyed reading, helping others and being active in Beit Teshuvah Synagogue.

Mrs. Brown is survived by a son, Steven Brown of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Gina Brown of Las Vegas; two sisters, Ginger Harp and Claire Ruth, both of Austin, Texas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Seymore Brown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 3801 Main Avenue, Durango, CO 81301.
